Michael Bay's Hillside Estate
Director Michael Bay is known for pushing the boundaries of filmmaking, and his Los Angeles residence is no different. This 30,000 sqft estate is a masterclass in architectural ambition, demonstrating how a bold vision can be brought to life with the elite materials and discerning craftsmanship.

The project, designed by Chad Oppenheim and executed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios, is a powerful showcase where Goldbrecht's commitment to Swiss-designed precision results in a truly transformative living experience.

The home's design is a striking exercise in elegant minimalism - a series of rectangular volumes and column-free interiors that create an atmosphere of expansive, open space.
The feeling is magnified by the chosen Vitrocsa Invisible Wall systems, custom glass walls (sliding and pivoting) that blur the line between the palatial indoor spaces and the sweeping outdoor views.
In fact, the main bedroom boast a 49' glass wall, with motorized panels that disappear into each other to frame Bel Air, and further Los Angeles, in view.

And some of the dining and hosting areas of the home also feature motorized sliding glass walls. As the flooring runs diagonally to lead the eye to the windows, note the glass' frame (the world's slimmest at 3/4"). The design's structural glazing supports the frame itself - a feature unique to Vitrocsa's patented products.

Swiss-engineered and US-made, Goldbrecht pushes the boundaries of residential architecture with Vitrocsa products and more. And Michael Bay's residence is a testament to the power of thoughtful design and superior craftsmanship.
