House of Earth and Sky

In the rolling hills of Hillsborough, California, stands a living testament to ecological responsibility and architectural poetry: the House of Earth and Sky project by the acclaimed Aidlin Darling Design.

From its inception, the owners set ambitious sustainability goals: LEED Platinum certification and Net Zero Energy.

And the design unfolds as a series of airy, carved spaces, boundaries blurred between the inside and outside.

The home features a series of products, including the esteemed Vitrocsa 3001 and TH+
Sliding Doors (ranging between 2 to 9 panel-units), Fixed Windows, Fixed Corner Windows, and Pivot Windows, in addition to Goldbrecht Classic Systems' Fixed Windows, Swing Door, and Motorized Tilt-Turn Windows.

The power of all installed units truly connect the indoors to outdoors - creating a fluid, harmonious living experience.

This profound demonstration of architecture - including 50+ Goldbrecht units - demonstrates sustainable design never sacrificing beauty or luxury. Instead, elevating all aspects.

The Liu Chang project treads lightly on the planet and inspires the spirit, inviting inhabitants to deeply experience the intersection of earth and sky.

Goldbrecht is proud to have participated in a project that garnered significant recognition, including:

- 2018 Winner for Contemporary Design, Luxe Magazine RED Awards
- 2017 Excellence Award, Society of American Registered Architects
- 2017 Architecture Merit Award, AIA California
