Flag House

A ski station villa by renowned designers Studio MK27 is a conceived marvel perched amidst the mountains of Whistler, British Columbia.

"I wanted to create the same connection between indoor and outdoor here," designer Marcio Kogan says. "Working with a big glass box makes the house open up to the surrounding nature, and invite the outside in. At the same time, it makes the volume appear weightless, as if floating above the ground."

Over 100 glass panels unite the expansive Vitrocsa Fixed and Sliding systems, many units standing over 14' tall.

The design also incorporates a Pivot Door - technology with hinges that are manufactured at a Swiss watchmaking component factory.
